Employee Relations Assistant

As our HR Assistant - Employee Relations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance and promoting fairness within the organization. Your responsibilities include assisting employees with policy interpretation, conducting thorough investigations into workplace issues, facilitating conflict resolution, ensuring government compliance, managing the offboarding process, and supporting administrative tasks. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and commitment to upholding company policies will contribute to fostering a positive work environment and resolving employee-related matters effectively.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Previous internship or work experience in Human Resources preferred.

  • Knowledge in Philippine labor laws and regulations.

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and database management.

  • Experience with recruitment processes, including resume screening and scheduling interviews.

  • Knowledge of basic HR policies and procedures.

  • Courses in organizational behavior or psychology can be beneficial.

  • Deep understanding of Philippine labor laws, regulations, and company policies affecting employee relations.

  • Skilled in interpreting and applying HR policies to diverse workplace scenarios.

  • Strong capability to conduct fair, thorough, and unbiased investigations into employee issues.

  • Able to analyze HR data, identify patterns, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • High attention to detail for maintaining accurate and confidential records.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for effective interaction across all organizational levels.

  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.

  • Critical thinking skills for identifying and addressing systemic employee relations issues.

Essential Functions

  • Assist employees in understanding company policies and ensure fair, consistent policy application across the organization.

  • Contribute to updating policies in line with legal changes and help develop employee handbooks and communication materials.

  • Support new hire orientations on company rules and maintain accurate records of policy trainings and enforcement actions.

  • Conduct and document investigations on misconduct, discrimination, or policy violations while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

  • Prepare investigation reports, issue Notices to Explain (NTE) and Notices of Decision (NOD), and guide employees through these processes.

  • Assist mediation between employees, promote harmonious workplace relationships, and track resolution outcomes and trends.

  • Support the development of proactive strategies to reduce recurring employee relations issues and improve morale.

  • Ensure adherence to DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) directives, reporting requirements, and labor advisories.

  • Manage the employee exit process, conduct exit interviews, ensure final pay accuracy, and handle inquiries from departing staff.

30% Night Differential Pay

The standard night differential pay in the Philippines is 10%. Our rate is 2x higher than that of other companies.
