Finance Lead

As a Finance Lead, you will supervise the accounting team’s daily operations, focusing on payroll, treasury, accounts receivable/payable, and financial reporting. You ensure compliance with government regulations (PEZA, BIR, SEC) and lead initiatives for process improvement. Your expertise supports accurate, efficient finance operations that align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.

  • Prepare forecasts, and budget variance reports, and support strategic financial planning.

  • Oversee government compliance and reporting (PEZA, BIR, SEC), ensuring accuracy and adherence.

  • Coordinate with auditors and facilitate successful external and internal audits.

  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

  • Assist in the annual budgeting process, aligning it with corporate goals.

  • Track budget variances and analyze discrepancies, providing management insights.

  • Identify and implement efficiencies across finance, payroll, and treasury operations.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members to enhance productivity and performance.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

  • Proficiency in government compliance and reporting (PEZA, BIR, SEC).

  • Knowledge of payroll, treasury, and accounts receivable/payable processes.

  • Advanced skills in financial software and Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions.

  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations, ensuring compliance.

  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy in all finance functions.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Effective communication and leadership skills to guide and mentor team members.

  • Problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement process improvements.

  • Customer service orientation to address internal and external financial inquiries.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on government compliance.

  • Leadership experience in finance or accounting roles.

  • Prior experience in a BPO setting or fast-paced environment is an advantage.

  • Proven track record in handling compliance and reporting with PEZA, BIR, and SEC.

  • CPA designation is highly preferred.

 

30% Night Differential Pay

The standard night differential pay in the Philippines is 10%. Our rate is 2x higher than that of other companies.
