Finance Manager

Dumaguete, Philippines

As a Finance Manager, you will safeguard the company's financial health by managing all accounting functions. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, timely audits, and compliance with Philippine regulations. Your role includes budgeting, forecasting, and leading the finance team to drive efficiency and maintain financial integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

  • Prepare timely financial statements and reports.

  • Manage monthly financial closing and coordinate with teams in Cebu and Dumaguete.

  • Lead annual budget development and ensure alignment with company goals.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations for long-term planning.

  • Assist in developing cost structures for outsourcing and seat leasing.

  • Oversee tax reporting and ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws.

  • Support the CEO with financial data presentations and strategic insights.

  • Monitor financial data to identify risks and opportunities.

  • Manage company accounts and investments for optimal performance.

  • Lead and motivate the finance team, setting clear expectations and providing feedback.

  • Develop and review financial policies and SOPs.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Expertise in managing accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.

  • Ability to analyze financial data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Experienced with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Excel.

  • Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking financial performance.

  • Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years in financial management, including 2+ years in a managerial role.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong understanding of Philippine financial regulations and tax laws.

  • CPA certification preferred; MBA is a plus.

30% Night Differential Pay

The standard night differential pay in the Philippines is 10%. Our rate is 2x higher than that of other companies.
