Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is responsible for executing a variety of HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, people and culture, and talent development. This role ensures effective delivery of HR services, compliance with labor laws, and fosters a positive work environment through collaboration and support across all organizational levels.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR generalist or related role.

  • Proficiency in HR tools, systems, and reporting.

  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

  • Familiarity with benefits administration and compliance practices.

  • Proven ability to handle multiple HR tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Background in supporting performance management and training initiatives.

  • Experience in organizing employee engagement or recognition programs.

  • HR certifications (e.g., CHRP, PHR) are a plus but not mandatory.

  • Training or coursework in labor law, employee relations, or talent management is advantageous.

Competencies and Skills

  • Broad knowledge of recruitment, benefits, employee engagement, and performance management.

  • Understanding of Philippine labor laws and regulatory requirements.

  • Skilled in HR software, tools, and reporting.

  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.

  • Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

  • Interpret HR metrics and resolve employee concerns.

  • Familiarity with strategies to improve engagement and retention.

  • Ensure accuracy in documentation and handle sensitive information professionally.

  • Understanding and application of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.

  • Handle dynamic priorities and respond to employee needs effectively.

Essential Functions

  • Post job ads, screen resumes, schedule and conduct initial interviews, and recommend candidates.

  • Facilitate a smooth new-hire experience and maintain a talent pipeline for future needs.

  • Assist with health insurance, leave, and wellness programs while handling employee inquiries.

  • Collaborate with external vendors and ensure compliance with labor laws.

  • Serve as a contact for employee concerns and support conflict resolution and mediation.

  • Organize engagement events, recognition programs, and support DEI initiatives.

  • Coordinate training sessions, track participation, and gather feedback for improvement.

  • Support appraisal processes and provide career development resources.

  • Maintain accurate records, prepare HR reports, and assist in drafting/updating HR policies.

  • Support internal audits, ensure regulatory adherence, and promote policy awareness across the organization.

30% Night Differential Pay

The standard night differential pay in the Philippines is 10%. Our rate is 2x higher than that of other companies.
