IT Specialist

The IT Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure. This role involves analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technology-related issues while maintaining a high level of customer service. The specialist will handle hardware and software inquiries, document solutions, and work collaboratively with team members to enhance overall IT performance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • At least 1 year of experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.

  • Understanding of computer hardware, software, and network systems.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.

  • Must be a team player.

  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance.

  • Strong analytical abilities to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.

  • Exceptional internal client support skills, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of IT-related issues.

  • Ability to accurately record incidents, changes, and solutions, maintaining up-to-date knowledge bases and IT manuals.

  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing incidents to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and deadlines.

  • Understanding of IT security principles and practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Ability to work well within a team, collaborating with other IT professionals to address complex issues and share knowledge.

  • Flexibility in responding to emergencies and adapting to new technologies, processes, and tools.

  • Competence in maintaining and preserving IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory and proper equipment handling.

Essential Functions

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues swiftly to minimize downtime.

  • Provide real-time support to employees, ensuring they have the tools and access needed to perform their duties.

  • Perform routine system checks and maintenance to prevent issues before they arise.

  • Guide employees in the effective use of hardware and software.

  • Perform regular hardware and software updates to ensure systems are up to date.

  • Regularly perform preventive maintenance on IT assets to avoid failures.

  • Be available for on-call support during IT emergencies to minimize downtime and address urgent issues.

  • Promote adherence to IT policies, including correctly using the ticketing system.

  • Respond quickly to critical incidents, ensuring a swift resolution to avoid business disruptions.

  • Assist in the deployment of new systems, ensuring smooth transitions.

30% Night Differential Pay

The standard night differential pay in the Philippines is 10%. Our rate is 2x higher than that of other companies.
