Marketing Manager

Dumaguete, Philippines

To lead SOPHI's brand, content, and marketing strategy. In this role, you will oversee all editorial and creative output, ensure the quality and consistency of our website and marketing materials, manage social media strategy, and drive data-informed marketing initiatives. You will also lead and develop the marketing team while ensuring every published asset aligns with SOPHI's brand standards and business objectives. 

      Minimum Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

      • At least 2 years of experience in copy editing, content management, or marketing communications.

      • Proven experience in content writing, editing, and editorial review.

      • Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns.

      • Experience managing social media platforms and analyzing performance metrics.

      • Proficiency in photography and videography.

      • Experience with video editing software (Final Cut Pro or equivalent).

      • Working knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva required; Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage).

      • Experience managing or leading a marketing or creative team is preferred.

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

      Essential Functions

    • Review, edit, and approve all company content before publication.
    • Maintain and enforce the company's editorial style guide and brand standards.
    • Oversee website content accuracy, quality, and regular content audits.
    • Ensure all marketing assets meet established brand and quality standards.
    • Direct and produce photo and video content for digital and marketing campaigns.
    • Review and approve creative materials for print, web, and social media.
    • Develop and execute the annual marketing plan aligned with business objectives.
    • Manage the company's social media strategy, content calendar, and performance reporting.
    • Monitor marketing KPIs and recommend improvements based on analytics.
    • Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team to achieve departmental goals.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support branding, communications, and business initiatives.

    • Continuously improve marketing processes and content effectiveness through data-driven decision-making.

      • 30% Night Differential Pay

      The standard night differential pay in the Philippines is 10%. Our rate is 2x higher than that of other companies.
